Just bought a fully loaded 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE a month ago. Love the panoramic view monitor and digital rear view mirror, makes parking much easier. I drive mostly local, so Hybrid makes perfect sense.

Used to LOVE our Spectra, then they discontinued it. Switched to Rio. Owned a couple of them. Still have my Rio hatch. Do NOT like what I've seen so far on its replacement. Guess for that first time in 15 years or so we won't have any kias in our family once my Rio is done with.

The next year 4Runner with i4, 2.4L turbo? This configuration will be at an expected life span of 5-7 years to the first owner (if lucky) as opposed to 10-15 years retention for the current layout with V6, 4L normally aspirated and 5 speed auto. No thanks, I would prefer the V6, 4L while still available... Apparently, Toyota wants to walk the path of overly complicated, expendable, disposable cars with a 5-7 years life expectancy (look at the problems the new Tacoma is facing)... Well, Toyota will face the fate of Chrysler, Ford and GM, they will still live on the well renown previous models dependability and quality for a while and, gradually, at some point they will go - raspberry blown -👎. It's a law of nature, what goes up, must come down.

The price is actually a bargain compared to which other luxury sedans are in the same range without the durability or refinement of the Century.

I live in PA USA and I 'ordered' a red X2 M35i like in the video, but with every available package and option. A bit over 60K USD and what I thought, given all the hype, was a great deal. Shifted down a notch from my fully-equipped X3 M40i. Ordered early December 2023. No information available on its build and delivery status until early May, when my dealer informed me that the model (?), my configuration (?), any X2 (?), would be provided to customers in the US. No information from BMW area or corporate as to the reason. I checked dealer inventories from Boston to LA and found only a few low-end "lot cars" - mainly non-Ms, two half-equipped Ms. Does anyone know what's going on? A flaw found at the last moment? Baltimore? Robots on strike? Well, if I order another Bimmer. it'll be a 2025 X3 M50, so I can go down to my home state and pick it up. No ocean to cross. Help.

I see this video is from 3 years ago...I'd like to give and update as of 2024...Honda pilot w/400k miles and gmc yukon w/300k maybe under 10k but it'll be beat up...Toyota under 15k user, yes, 10k? The thing will be rusted out 400k with sewage covered seats in this economy..

Hybrid the double clutch system is going to be a problem. Ask any current or former Ford focus owner .

If you must get the 2024 Escape, I'd suggest you look at the 2.0 Ecoboost for more power, or the hybrid for fuel economy. If reliability is your priority, the RAV4 is your best choice.

I bought the 2024 TRD Off Road in Black mostly for the unique look. I have to say it was very hard to find sitting on the lot. My only complaint was the stock Falken Tires 01A are total junk and not severe snow rated (only about 1/4" tread). I replaced the stock tires with Standard Severe Snow Rated Falkens and are very happy with this model.
